In the Czech Republic cosmetic surgery is strictly controlled and surgeons need to be licensed and certified. At the first stage, physicians are required to obtain title Doctor of Medicine (Medicinae Universae Doctor - MUDr.) which is given to graduates after studying six-year program of general medicine at accredited university. This title will allow surgeons to participate in specialisation program in plastic surgery, which will last another six years. During this program surgeons gain theoretical knowledge as well as practical experiences under supervision of senior surgeon.

Four steps to cosmetic surgery
Medical Prestige have simplified the process of researching your cosmetic surgery into four simple steps.
- STEP 1: You can submit an enquiry form for a particular procedure on their website. Medical Prestige will send you a quotation and preliminary price.
- STEP 2: Pre-Consultation: Depending on your medical condition, Medical Prestige shall suggest the best possible treatment option available for you. Medical Prestige will submit you with recommendation of one of our physicians and the final price of the procedure as well as the availability of the treatment.
- STEP 3 Advance payment: You will be required to make a refundable advance payment of EUR 200 and the service fee payment (if required) of EUR 150. The rest of the payment is made in Prague. The service fee include private transportation to-and-from the airport, pre-arrange hotel check-in, personal assistant 24 hours a day, daily check on recuperating patient, assist with local tour and excursion arrangements. The price of the procedure include consultation with surgeon, pre-operative examination, surgery, general and local aneasthetic, 1-3 nights at the clinic, medication, post-operative after care and check ups, stitches removal.
- STEP 4: Booking a flight: You should arrange the return airport ticket to Prague and forward Medical Prestige your flight details so that they can arrange your procedure and stay in Prague.
