The HSA Dental Plan gives you money back towards your everyday dental care. It's an easy way to help make sure that you don't have to worry about visiting the dentist again.
The HSA Dental Plan provides financial help towards everyday dental expenses such as check-ups, x-rays, fillings, crowns, dentures and anaesthetic fees. It also provides dental insurance against the cost of emergency treatment and treatment required as a result of a dental injury caused by an accident. Additionally, there’s a lump sum payable if a person covered by the HSA Dental Plan is diagnosed with mouth cancer.
The HSA Dental Plan covers:
- 100% money back towards bills for maintenance, including check-ups, x-rays and hygienist visits, up to your annual limit.
- 75% money back on bills for dental treatment, including crowns and white fillings, up to your annual limits, subject to a three month qualifying period.
- Cover if you need to see a dentist in an emergency, if you're in severe pain or problems with your teeth are causing other health problems subject to a three month qualifying period.
- Cover if you need treatment following an accident, where your teeth suffer damage subject to a three month qualifying period.
- One off payment of up to £12,000 if you are diagnosed with mouth cancer, subject to a six month qualifying period.
Many cheaper dental insurance plans do not cover you so comprehensively or help you manage the increased cost of private dental treatment or allow you to choose better quality materials.
