Deferred care plans for long term care are similar to Immediate Care Plans except that instead of benefits paying out immediately, they are paid after a few months or years.
It tends to suit those people who have funds to pay for care for a few months or few years, but want some protection if the care continues beyond that period.
They are usually much cheaper than Immediate Care Plans.
