Following an initial assessment, a care assistant or qualified private nurse will visit your home and provide the experienced, specialist home care you require – tailored to your child’s health needs and your own domestic requirements. Ambition 24hours provides care at any time of the day or night, for as many or as few hours as you want, with a minimum of 4 hours for each visit.
Specialist paediatric care
Specialist nurses and carers are trained in caring for babies and older children who may require medical attention, support or supervision for a few days or for longer periods, including overnight. Ambition 24hours provides the additional care and reassurance that worried parents often want in order to meet the continuing needs of a sick child - whether with viral, post-operative, disability, behavioural or other care needs.
Care assistants and nurses at Ambition 24hours are child-protection trained – with Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau - and experienced in working with social services and paediatric hospital teams, as well PCTs (Primary Care Trusts), as required, to ensure continuing care, aligned with the support and recommendations of your own GP or your child’s hospital consultant.

There are 3 simple stages:-
- Call the 24 hr booking hotline to book an initial assessment, by credit card
- At the appointed time, a qualified private nurse will visit for an initial assessment of nursing needs
- You will then get a call within 24 hours to agree a schedule of visits by a carer or nurse, with pre-booking by credit card. The nursing schedule can be reviewed and revised, according to your needs.
- Total Quality Commitment: Full compliance with the NHS National Care Standards, and all relevant clinical governance, policies and procedures - including agency staff interviewing, referencing, training and full criminal records check.
What does it cost?
Service fees start from under £14.00 per hour, for the provision of an experienced Care Assistant. Qualified Nurses with a range of specialisation can also be provided. The total cost of the Care Plan will relate to such issues as the frequency and duration of care, the type of care required - whether by a qualified nurse or care assistant and whether care is provide during the day, at night or over weekends.
For a fee of £120 you can be provided you with an initial assessment and quotation for the cost of the proposed care plan . The fee for the initial assessment is for the cost of a visit to the home, care assessment and development of a Care Plan by a qualified nurse. There is no further obligation to purchase.
Cancellation: the service can be cancelled at any time by giving at least 24 hours notice by phone.
