Long term care insurance : Prices increase
AXA Sun Life (Axa health insurance) premiums for its pre-funded Long Term Care insurance products are increasing by an average of 60% for new and existing customers.
The insurer's 11,500 customers have a choice of paying more premium or accepting much lower benefits.One reason for the increase is that people are living longer. but often in poor health.
AXA Sun Life's Lifetime Care Products are only available via financial advisers.
