Health insurance companies make customer pledge

26 health insurance companies have signed up to the Customer Impact Scheme, an initiative to provide excellent standards of service to purchasers of income protection and critical illness insurance plans.
 
Each insurer has pledged to:
  • Develop and promote products and services that meet the needs of customers
  • Provide customers with clear information and good service when they buy products
  • Provide customers with a good service after they have bought a product.
