Travellers want more personal assistance

Europ Assistance
Travel insurer and assistance provider Europ Assistance has recently undertaken an analysis of major social trends in Europe.

Despite developments in products and new technologies, customers increasingly value the human element of personal advice and assistance, especially when faced with a loss or emergency situation.

Rob Upton, Sales and Marketing Director, Europ Assistance, says: “We believe we shall see a continued transition away from a pure insurance model towards a lifestyle assistance solution, in which traditional insurance is combined with an increasing range of personal assistance services. Consumer expectations regarding the extent and quality of these assistance services will increase.”
