A Liverpool scheme that connects business donors with local causes has named Medicash chief executive Bill Gaywood as its first ambassador.
The boss of the leading Liverpool-based health cash insurer will act as the Community Foundation's ambassador for health.
Development director Emma Blackman said: "We're delighted to have Bill on board as ambassador for health as he is head of his field in the health sector."
