Zeljko Popadic, DDS - Dental Implantoprosthetic Center: Dental treatment in Croatia

Dr Zeljko Popadic´s surgery is situated in the centre of Rovinj, a picturesque Istrian town in Croatia.  The Istrian peninsula is less than an hour's drive from Italy and 2 hours from Austria and is also easily accessible from Germany, Switzerland, UK, Ireland and other countries.  Here it is possible to combine a cultural and restful holiday with dental treatment.

The Implantoprosthetic centre is the referring centre for Nobel Biocare and Astra Tech Implants systems and is also qualified for the appliance of these implant systems and procedures.

Dr Popadic, a member of the Nobel Biocare Mentor Team regularly updates his knowledge and skills and ensures that he is competent in the most demanding implantoprosthetic and surgical techniques, necessary for the quality of treatment and the entire rehabilitation of the patient.  As part of the  Mentors Program the surgery organises basic and advanced courses to educate other dentists in implantoprosthetic techniques and also visit other practices giving them support and help.

 

The surgery is equipped with up-to-date and sophisticated technology and has three dental units available, all computerised.  Therefore, diagnostics, treatment planning and the treatment itself, whether it is implantoprosthetic, conservative, orthodontic, prosthetic or aesthetic, are set to the highest standards.

Dr Popadic’s team consists of three dentists, three assistants and two administrators.  

 

Dr Zeljko Popadic, born in Dubrovnik in 1966, graduated with flying colours from the Dental School of Sarajevo University in 1991.  He has continued with his education in Barcelona, Venice Essen, Zagreb, Vienna, Paris, Luzern, Kopenhagen, Gdansk, Las Vegas and Gothenburg under the supervision of well known professionals such as Dr Fatori, Dr Cecchinato, Dr Lindhe, Dr Favero, Dr Dragoo, Dr Buser, Dr Kneževic, Dr Curilovic, Dr Urde, Dr Jovanovich, Dr Dijakiewich and many others. Numerous marks of distinction and diplomas can be found in his surgery.  Dr Popadic is a member of the Croatian Dental Chamber, Croatian Medical Association, Croatian Society of Periodontology, Croatian Society for Dental Implantology, Croatian Society for Education in Implantology, European Association for Osseointegration and the Global Institute for Dental Education. Since 1997 he has been managing his own dental practice, a centre for implantoprosthetic in Rovinj. He is a member of Nobel Biocare Mentor's team in Croatia and is very active in the education of other dentists. Dr Popadic speaks English, Italian and German and has a great passion for music.

 

Dr Kristina Matuc, born in Rijeka in 1976, graduated with exceptional marks from the Dental School of Rijeka University in 2002.  Previous to this she qualified as a dental technician and has been with the surgery since 2004. She is always attending professional meetings and courses in Croatia and abroad to update her skills. She speaks fluent English and Italian. 

 

Dr Elvis Dombaj, born in Rijeka in 1975, graduated with great success at the Dental School of Rijeka University in 2001.  He joined Dr Popadic's team in 2005 after practicing dentistry in other dental surgeries for a few years.  He is continuously upgrading his skills on professional courses. He speaks fluent English and Italian.  He together with Dr Popadic has produced several professional dental video presentations.
