Suhaib Sait MBBS, LLM, FRCS (Ed), MSc(Orth), FRCS(Orth): Consultant Orthopaedic Shoulder & Knee Surgeon in London and Kent: an experienced consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon offering the latest treatments for sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement and hand surgery.
Mr Sait qualified in 1986. He was based at Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospital for his specialist traininig in trauma and orthopaedics, where he trained on the orthopaedic rotation. He has fellowships in shoulder surgery (Nottingham University) and in hand surgery (The Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead). He also specialises in sports injuries.
He was the orthopaedic tutor for over 5 years and is now the orthopaedic training programme director for South East England.
He has a degree in medical law and runs a busy medico legal practice providing service to patients with personal injuries.
Mr Sait's orthopaedic practice spans South East London and North & Mid Kent and he has received clinical excellence awards from the Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust.
Clinical interests
Arthroscopic work for shoulder & knee problems makes up the majority of Mr Sait's clinical work. He also performs hip & knee replacement surgery, while his hand practice deals with carpal tunnel syndrome & Dupuytren’s contractures. He works closely with sports physiotherapists to deal with sports injuries.
Mr Sait is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Darent Valley Hospital, a modern state-of-the-art hospital, which opened in September 2000 and he is keenly involved with teaching and training for the school of surgery.
